it is the little things…

it is the little things that get into your sub-conscience, smells and sounds bury tiny seeds into your mind. Locked away until triggered, then they sprout and grow, the sounds and smells bloom in day dream. A different perspective from the past rushes back into the present and overlay the juxtaposes current conditions, the process made me gasp, tears of emotion welled up and goose bumps sprouted all over. I shivered and was lost in the moment.

This whole week i have been trying to think of, write about or even be aware of themes that could turn into significant posts that have enough lift to not fall victum to “my Space” dairy drearyness. Like many bored expats who swear by their news agregator i was skimming the headlines. The germans around me drank cheap sekt and 1/2 chain smoked discussing money, family and subsequent politics [or so that is what my foreign ears could assertain] Trying to get back to the point i linked from the venerable jeansnow-griddskipper and finally realized i was reading a weekend colum in the FinancialTimes by Tyler Brule. [googling t.b, i discovered is Mr.walllpaper]
the link that i am trying to find is between the tired style of linking good retail experiences and choosing an airline based on it’s uniforms. “tokyo-Celex” exclusive retail outlets, invisible lines you walk through when you are foreign and what one does when they are not a good writer desperately grasping at straws trying to find linking themes between the seemingly random but in truth grossly repetative surfing habits of a 20 something enving 30 somethings. why can’t i be james burke, kaki clad with cool ‘proper british intellectual glasses’ and crzy historian hair.
